Rida Hasan, MD

Rida Hasan is an associate medical director of the Transfusion Services Laboratory at University of Washington Medical Center. Her background is in pediatric hematology and she has a strong interest in pediatric transfusion medicine. As both a clinician and a pathologist, she hopes to bridge the laboratory aspects with the clinical aspects of transfusion medicine. She hopes to provide expertise on how products are selected for a neonatal population and also how clinicians are changing transfusion practices in the NICU based on new literature.
