Faisal Alsaqri has over 18 years of experience in transfusion medicine, clinical laboratories, total quality management, and operational improvement. He currently serves as a Laboratories Operations and Quality Improvement Analyst at King Abdulaziz Medical City - Ministry of National Guard in Riyadh, where he leads quality initiatives and process improvement efforts on the Laboratory Medicine.
Faisal is also an active lecturer and educator. He teaches immunohematology courses for the Clinical Laboratory Science program at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. Additionally, he coordinates internships for clinical laboratory science students.
An accomplished author, Faisal has published two books in the fields of quality management and transfusion regulation. His publications include "Blood Bank KPIS: How to Select, Develop, and Analyze Them" (AABB, 2020) and "Error Management: Turning a Negative Situation into a Positive One" (AABB, 2022).
In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Faisal remains engaged in professional service and assessment. He is an assessor for AABB and conducts laboratory surveys for the Central Board of Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions. Faisal brings a wealth of transfusion expertise to assist others in strengthening quality and compliance in healthcare organizations.
