Description: Health disparities and inequities are deeply rooted in historical, cultural and institutional structures leading to longstanding disadvantages for Black, Indigenous, LatinX and diverse communities. This presentation will focus on challenges that perpetuate systemic racism and bias that limit equitable access to care, describe a process to advance health equity that organizations can adopt and highlight that diversity and inclusion are fundamental to advancing health equity for all communities.
