Learning Objectives:

Identify how the platelet lipidomics impacts hemostatic function with respect to donor sex, storage temperature and duration.
Understand the platelet indices, biochemical and hemostatic profiles of Day 7 room temperature-stored and Day 21 cold-stored platelets compared to baseline Day 0.
Assess the impact of VX-702 (p38 MAPK inhibitor) and/or minocycline on cold-stored platelets for 21 days with regards to platelet indices, biochemical profile, cell surface expression, platelet activation/retention and mitochondrial function.
Describe the ability to remove aggregates in CSP by filtration and its effects on platelet recovery, metabolism and markers of CSP activation.
