Marisela G. Marchan earned her B.S. degree at the University of Wisconsin, Specialist in Blood Banking program at Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin, and Master of Science in Transfusion Medicine from Marquette University.

Her work experience includes Pediatric Transfusion Services and Immunohematology Reference Laboratory for Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin. Marisela now works as the Manager of the Platelet, Neutrophil Immunology Laboratory. She supports daily operations, training, staff development and innovation in this role. She serves in multiple AABB committees including IRL Standards, IRL Accreditation and AABB Spanish Language Subsection. Marisela is passionate about the field of Transfusion Medicine.
