Pat is the Vice President of Quality Operations and Administrative Services for Vitalant located in Scottsdale, AZ. He is responsible for providing direction, quality oversight and regulatory compliance for blood services operations as well as oversight of Vitalant’s environmental health and safety program. Pat has more than 30 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Vitalant in 2003, Pat served as Chief Compliance Officer for the Indiana Blood Center in Indianapolis, IN. Pat is an active participant in the blood banking community. He currently chairs AABB’s Standard Program Committee and is a past chair of AABB’s Blood Bank and Transfusion Service (BBTS) Standards Committee and the Standards Evaluation for Internal Variance committee. Pat also chairs the Leadership Administrative Subsection for AABB. Pat is an AABB assessor and has served on a number of other industry-based task forces and committees.
